The Continental Series from Concord American Flagpole combines a heavy-duty aluminum flagpole with the highest quality hardware available to the industry today. These flagpoles meet the most stringent architectural standards and are certain to enhance the landscape of any business or industrial property. This 45' flagpole has a 2 piece shaft and is only available with a 8" Butt Diameter and .188" Shaft Thickness. The top diameter is 3-1/2" It is designed to fly a 8'x12' flag.

| The standard thickness of this flagpole is .156 inches (5/32") providing 87 MPH maximum wind speed when flagged with a 6'x10' flag and 122 MPH with no flag. There are several options to upgrade (above right)all the way to a shaft that is .188 inches (188/1000") providing 122 MPH maximum wind speed when flagged with a 8'x12' flag and 177 MPH with no flag. The ANSI minimum requirement throughout the lower 48 states is 90 MPH. Some costal and mountain areas are much higher, particularly on the East and Gulf Coasts.
