Made in the USA: All of Valley Forges flags are produced in one of five manufacturing facilities in South Carolina. Valley Forge Flag is a founding member of the FMAA and plays an active role on the FMAA board. “Certified Made in the U.S.A.” certification seal assures consumers that their flag was made in the U.S.A. with domestic resources and labor.

Heavy Duty 2 ply spun polyester: Spectrapro polyester is exclusive to Valley Forge manufactured flags. This flag is made from heavyweight spun polyester and engineered to allow wind to pass through, reducing the stress on the flag. It is the best outdoor flag for commercial or institutional use, high wind areas or daily use.

Brass Grommets: Spectrapro features include weather resistant brass grommets so your flag will last through the toughest weather. Note: on flags larger than 6' x 10' those grommets are upgraded to galvanized thimbles.

Lock-Stitched Fly Ends: Four rows of high strength lock-stitching are on the fly (the end of the flag) reducing the likelihood of fraying and extending the life of the flag. Note: larger flags have 6 rows of stitching.

A variety of colors were carried by the United States Marine Corps troops from the Revolution onward. Their designs varied. The emblem of the Corps, consisting of a globe placed over an anchor and bearing at the top an eagle, has been in use from at least the First World War onward. The globe features the New World, site of most early Marine Corps military engagements. Red and gold were made the official colors of the Corps in 1925 and the current standard (flag) of the Corps was established in 1939.
